Mari Milsom

CEO & Founder

Our consultancy practice is led by Mari Milsom, who has more than 25 years of recruitment industry expertise, having worked with large corporates, including British Airways, AWE, Capita, and PA Consulting.

Mari specialises in Strategic Workforce Planning, Strategic Resourcing, Inclusive Assessment, and Social Value Resourcing. She has a deep understanding of the recruitment challenges facing employers and lived experience in developing and successfully implementing inclusive resourcing strategies.

She founded HR Biscuit to help more organisations achieve their ED&I goals through positive and inclusive recruitment and created CoActive Assessment®, a candidate-centred, curious, and respectful assessment style using techniques that draw on the humanistic principles and psychology of Carl Rogers. In early 2023 our CoActive Assessment® webapp was developed in order to enable organisations of all sizes to utilise our innovative interview assessment approach.

Mari is also a Strategic Advisory Board Member for The Skills Imperative 2035, seeking to identify and project the demand for the essential employment skills that people will need for work in the future and is a Trustee of Project Remake. This exceptional charity works with universities, businesses, and the third sector to provide entrepreneurship skills training and employment opportunities to ex-offenders.

Cheryl Stacey

Senior Consultant

Cheryl is a global talent acquisition specialist with over 20 years experience that spans across MSP, RPO, In-house and agency recruitment.

She has held a number of senior leadership roles including Head of Talent Acquisition at Capita and Global Talent Lead for Diageo, and now specialises in talent acquisition strategy and leadership, talent acquisition systems and processes.

Cheryl is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion, and is committed to ensuring that everyone thrives in the workplace. She is a mental health advocate, a menopause champion and an ally.

Kathryn Marshall

Senior Consultant

Kathryn is the CEO and founder of Insightful Transformation Ltd and supports our clients with complex transformation and workforce change programmes..

As an HR Board Director of 30 years standing for companies like Aviva, Serco, Balfour Beatty and AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment), Kathryn has an in-depth practical understanding of what works and doesn’t. The credibility to advise and support CEOs and Directors on the strategic workforce changes required to deliver success.

Nikki Scott-Douglas

Non Executive Director

With over 17 years recruitment operations experience within large organisations such as Accenture, Adecco and Capita Nikki knows a thing or two about resourcing!

A trained Lean / Six Sigma professional Nikki has a passion for operational excellence and in particular the experience of the candidate throughout their recruitment journey.

She has lead large teams delivering Professional and Volume hires both in-house and to external blue chip clients.

Nikki joined HR Biscuit in 2023 to head up the development and delivery of our CoActive Assessment® webapp and says "I'm so excited to be part of such an inclusive company, both internally and externally. We are on a mission to disrupt the world of interview assessments and right now I would not want to be anywhere else - bring it on!"

Frequently joining calls Isabella knows the world of recruitment, and in particular interviewing, inside and out. Never scared to make her opinion known this pocket sized princess believes that, like many other attributes, size is irrelevant to future success and sees herself as living proof. Challenge her if you dare.

Bumble

Furchasing Intern

Bumble is Isabellas little brother. The chaos to her calmness he holds no fear and will readily challenge decisions (and other much larger dogs). Another frequent participant on Teams calls Bumble believes that his huge, solefull eyes will always ensure the best deal is procured.

Buddy

Pawtnership Manager

Affectionately known as Boo, Buddy is Nikki's canine owner. He is a Staffy / German Shepherd / Labrador cross who joined her family 4 years ago after being rescued from Birmingham Dogs Home and, when he is not staring out of the window, loves to make new friends and welcome them into his world with lots of kisses. His business strategy is simple, give him biscuits and you are in!
